We have a 2111 VXI client connected to a 9971 IP phone running power through a 3750X switch stack with 802.3AT PoE and plenty of redundant power supplies. The 9971 powers up fine, but the VXI client doesn't seem to be getting power. We tried running PoE directly into the VXI client ethernet port with no success. We have replaced the 9971, 2111, switch ports, and cables, each individually: same problem every time. The switch is telling us that it is only drawing about 11 watts, enough to power the 9971. Are there any settings on the switch or phone that could be causing us to not draw/push the power we need? I can't seem to find any way to power up the 2111 by itself either, but we have replaced even that... bad batch maybe? We have no known-working equipment to test with.
