7960 SIP registration - CCM7

Hi,

A 7960 Phone with the latest firmware is not able to register with CCM7.

It has obtained an IP address from CallMgr, however the LCD display keeps displaying 'restarting'

I can't access the directory, probably due to the registration problem.

The error messages are:

W20 error parsing SIPxxx.cnf

error parsing SIPDefault.cnf

Line info:

Authentication Name : Unprovisioned

Authentication Password: *********

I created a user with the dn:

5002@x.x.x.x and associated it with the device. Not sure if I am doing it right

What version of the SIP load are you using? Are the phones already running SIP, or do they need to be converted from SCCP to SIP? Try to replace the domain name with IP address in the proxy server if you are using domain name.
