Okay so I have a 7970 that I am attempting to update the firmware on. I have my tftp server up and it looks for and connects to the tftp server fine. It downloads the term71 loads file twice on two different ports then does nothing for awhile then downloads it agin twice over and over. Per tftp log it shows a successful download but I dont understand why it doesn't look for the rest of the firmware files at all. I originally updated the firmware fine but had some issues so downgraded the firmware then reset phone to do fresh upgrade. Any suggestions? Is phone bricked??
Ugh. Thats gonna be a bummer. I only have a couple versions of the firmware that I have gotten from different phones over the years. Now I wish I hadn't donwgraded. Guess thats why one should pay close attention to these things. Thanks for the info. I got it rolled back now at least so its functional again. Still can't get it to accept the config but at least Im getting it to turn on again.
