Try to put the 9971 Directory number in the same partition and CSS as the other phones.

Pierre.

hi,

Thanks for respond, i alerady put the 9971 and the other directory number in same partition and CSS but the probleme still.

Are you sure the 9971 is registered with CUCM ?

Did you check the license unit report : System > Licensing > License Unit report

Pierre.

hi,

yes i am sure, i have a ip phone 7911 it's work in sccp but when i configure it in sip i have same problem that i have in Ip ¨Phone 9971.

Don't have any more idea.

The only strange think is the MAC address of your phones starting with D, E or F !

- CSS of the phone

- The configuration of the line from the 9971 and the 7962 (with css and partiton)

- The configuration of the device include the css

Please update the firmware to the latest release.

Kind regards,

Hi,

Sorry for my late respond, When i desable G722 the IP Phone SCCP can make call to IP Phone SIP but not in reverse.

Many Thanks

Hello again,

That sounds crazy, but i can't download your attachment. Could you create a zip-file.

Thanks,

Marcel

Hi,

Thank's all of you for reply, i resolve the problem. the Firmware version 9.1 have some bug with sip so i downgrade to version 8.2 and it's work Fine.

Best Regard

Good to hear it works fine again, but I can't believe 9.1.1SR1 would make an inbound call from another CUCM endpoint fail.

You mentioned "some bug", can you give us a bug id? Or trace of such a failed call? Would love to see it.

Thanks,

Cedric

Hi cedric, this is the bug "CSCtj13838"

Hi Mounir,

Thanks for sharing. Did you have a TAC case opened for this? As this defect is not linked to any SR. In fact, it's internal so I can't go into that much but in short, this defect talks about authentication issues of phone config. So what must have happened is that you must have set/reset CSS/Partitions, but due to this defect, it never got applied properly. Most likely if you would have disabled speakerphone button, it would also still have worked after reset.

When you downgraded, there's no such security measures, and there was no issue downloading and applying the new config as stored in your xml file for this phone.

Nett result is that using 8.5, you could call whereas with 9.x you should have been able to call, your phone just never got its configuration applied/verified properly.

This is all assumptions though, as I haven't seen any traces, but firmware shouldn't cause a call to fail. It's just signaling between 2 entities - actually 3 if you count CCM itself. Firmware issues are most of the time lockups, features not working correctly, ... etc.

Hope this helps!
