Adding Cisco Unified Personal Communicator as a Phone Type

I followed the manual to the letter.

But there is no description on how to configure the Softphone settings.

I tried to use the DEVICE NAME :UPCITAHH

both in the phone configuration window and in the softphone settings

but it results in a mismatch

i allso tried using the name SEPUPCITAHH

in that case it autoregisteres

has anyone succesfully added a secondary Softphone to a Primary IP-Phone to conserve units on the server ?

nope its autoregs when i add SEP to the devicename

im using Cisco IP Communicator v. 7.0.1.0 on a CUCM 6.1
