ATA 187 not registering

    Hi,

I have configured a ATA 187 with an ext 6666 and it is registered with CM, after some time my plan change and change the EXT to 6868, Now the ATA is not registering. I tried to delete ATA and add agian but same results not registered,

Can anybody can give any hints.

Hello

please share the firmware of your ATA , CUCM version.

Try to disconnect ATA 187 from your network and add ATA 187 on you CUCM successfully , after that add ATA 187 as a hardware , then test registeration.

Hello Islam,

I was doing a mistake, without deleting the directory i was adding a same MAC to another extension that the reason it was accepting the same previous extension.

I didnt understood your previous reply can you help me to understand

after that add ATA 187 as a hardware  ?????

good that the problem is solved , i just told you if you have a problem for ATA registeration

1- before you add the ATA to your network , add it to your call manager as a configuration only .

2-after you configure MAC and DN successfully for ATA.

3- Attach ATA to your network ,then test registeration.
