Guys,
My ATA 187 doesnt seem to pass DTMF tones through to an analogue endpoint. Im guessing its somehow configured for out of band DTMF and needs to be in band.
does anyone know how i change?
Thanks

We've figured out now:
Analogue phone on ATA -> Analogue phone on ATA DTMF Received ok
Analogue phone on ATA -> IP Phone = DTMF Received ok
Analogue phone on ATA -> External PSTN Phone = No DTMF
It could be the DTMF Relay settings, im checking into this. In the mean time if anyone knows the fix it would be much appreciated. The ATA 187s are our first SIP devices so this may have something to do with it.

Carl
Did you ever resolve this as we are experiencing the exact same issue and the 187's are our only SIP device. We have been battling with TAC for a month now and getting no where.
Any response would be greatly appreciated....
Thanks

I cant remember what hte fix was now, it was so long ago!
I do remember what it was for though, and I'm pretty sure it was the DTMF relay settings. I cant remember exactly, but changing the fax mode settings in call manager admin seems to ring a bell.
