I have two as5350xm configured as sip gateways.I have VRRP configured on a BVI that I would like to use UA address. I looked into the SIP Bind Features and there is not restriction that indicate I can no t use this virtual ip. In the same way there is not option to bind the sip ua to the virtual ip. The sip gateway and the sip proxy are on the same vlan.

This does not work correctly. I've seen it break before, and would not use it.
SIP gateways don't support HSRP with the bound address.
For simple call flows you may be able to get it to work, but I know that certain SIP phones break when they try to register to a SIP CME bound to a HSRP address.

Thank you Nick . I was trying to find a work around. the Genesys admin were having a problem where they could not stablish a session with the my virtual ip since the UA ip address did not match with it. They were able to figure it how to replay back to my virtual ip. It is all working now.
