I have a scenario where i am terminating a sip trunk and need to change the calling party number based on who is making the call but the mask needs to very so using a set external phone mask wont work. I have a Callmanager 7 pub and an MGCP controlled gateway to the pstn.
From the sip trunk there is a specific range of calling party numbers that i'm getting that i need to change before sending them out to the pstn. I also have calling parties that make calls that i do not need to alter calling party number.
for example:
(111) 121 12xx would be changed to (121) 222 13xx and the sent out the pstn
but any other number that came thru would just be forwarded out to the pstn
I know i can do this via an h323 gateway and translation patterns but if i can do this with the CCM that would be a lot better.

yes you can use calling party transform masks.

Yep got that but the mask may be different based on the calling party and if I use the setting provided its a all or none situation.
