                   Hi,

        I am building my lab for the CCIE voice exam. I am currently working on my frame relay PSTN. I am able to get my PSTN ports to come up, but I am having issues with my framerelay.I thin is a cable issue because the ports are down/ down. I was wondering what type of cables are need for the frame relay ports. I am following the IPexpert and using vwics.

Thank you

Hi.
You should use a DTE/DCE cable to achieve what you are trying.

Hi,

       Keep in mind that I am using Vwic cards not WIC cards.

Thank you

Ops..

Sorry Curtis.

In my case  worked an RJ45 with the following pinout:

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 ---> 4-5-3-1-2-6-7-8

You can try it and hope this helps.

If you can, please post your config.

Carlo

Hi.

VWIC can also be configured as WAN interface  loosing Voice capability.
