My customer asked the following Cisco Emergency Responder 7.1 questions to which I can't seem to find answers in the Cisco Web: How is data protected while on disk; is data between CER and UCUM , and between CER and the switches protected from tampering and monitoring?

which type of data u r referring?
CER - CUCM is JTAPI
you can look for JTAPI secure
SNMP v2c/3 provides security in the protocol itself
please clarify a little bit more ur question
Thanks

They were asking about the ERL data itself. How secure is the transfer or the loc
ation data to and from the CER to the gateways as well as how CER guarantees delivery of the E911 call to the PSAP or atleast out to the Telco. I should have deduced the JTAPI portion but how is the ERL and ELIN information stored on the CER protected? The actual disk data itself rather than just access via login, though that is part of my response. Will call recording be part of the service in the future or will I have to rely on 3rd party Cisco partner software for that portion such as IPCelerate or Cistera?
