CIPC & phone url problem

Hi all, I have a problem with my CME and CICP ver. 7.0.1.0

I have set in telephony-service some phone url, checked with command "more" if it's present on conf file, checked with debug tftp event if it's the correct file that my CICP download but nothing appear in my ip communicator (device configuration menu).

In my file the phone url rows are:

<directoryURL>http://my_url/</directoryURL>

Communicator/LdapDialin<idleURL></idleURL>

<informationURL></informationURL>

<messagesURL></messagesURL>

<proxyServerURL></proxyServerURL>

<servicesURL>http://my_url/</servicesURL>

In whitch other way can I debug this problem?

P.S.

I see that conf file is downloaded two times from CIPC... is correct?

Hi Pasqu,

It looks like the phone isn't actually downloading the phone-specific SEP file. Did you do a more on the SEP file or the XMLDefaultCIPC file?

You can try these things:

On the ephone make sure the type is configured

On the ephone make sure that the MAC is configured

Use this command to make the CNF per-phone:

telephony-service

cnf per-phone

no create cnf

create cnf

Then, try again and see if the phone gets the correct SEP file.

hth,

nick

I have already tried this mode and this is the output:

But not resolv my problem, url service is blank.

This appears to be unexpected behavior. There's a good chance there's a bug or interoperability issue involved.

I would try a few things:

Factory reset (or uninstall/install) CIPC

Downgrade CIPC versions

Upgrade CME version

You could also fire up wireshark and see what you're getting when you press the services button.

hth,

nick

> Factory reset (or uninstall/install) CIPC

> Upgrade CME version

I can't do this this night! ehehe but I try it asap!

> You could also fire up wireshark and see what you're getting when you press the services button.

No, my problem is before because I can't set the url. For some reason my CIPC don't like my conf / url.

Seems to be a parsing error...
