Cisco 7821 IP Phone Problem

Hi

we have some cisco 7821 SIP IP Phones and the are registered with our CUCM and the problem we have now is when we call the extensio number 6121(Cisco 7911 is behind this extension) on the 7821 SIP phone the phone is locked and we should unplug the power and plug back in to restart and continue working ?!!!!!!

can you please help

Hi,

Could you elaborate on what do you mean by phone gets locked. Does the phone freeze ? Also let us know the firmware version of 7821 phone. Because there were some known phone freeze issues (bug) with some firmware versions. If this is your exact issue and if the firmware is not latest, first try upgrading to the latest one.

is this happening only when dialing a particluar extension (6121) or all the time ?
