Cisco 8831 time incorrect in CME

Hi All,

i just installed a 8831 phone in CME 10.5

the phone is working fine , but i found that the phone time display on 8831 is incorrect (other mode is ok).

and one know what happened?

Please make sure correct phone type is defined in voice register pool and also timezone value needs to be appropriate for whatever local time is. 

Paste the config if above things are checked.thanks

i found that should be the bug of 8831 in CME

and i already follow the post to change the phone type and problem still exist .

any idea about it?

Did you do create profile after applying the changes and also as per above it is impacting firmware 9.3.3 however all latest 8831 has to be on min  10.3.X firmware as per instructions on the phone model.

Copy the "TzDataCSV.csv" and "tzupdater.jar  into CME router flash.

 

  1. Configure below commands to make the files available through TFTP.

 

tftp-server flash:TzDataCSV.csv

 

    tftp-server flash:tzupdater.jar

 

  1. In "voice register global" configure timezone using below command. Use the timezone names mentioned in .csv file (you can open the file with Excel).

 

    voice register global

 

    olsontimezone xxxx/xxxxxx version 2015a

 

    no create profile

 

    create profile

 

    reset

4-voice register pool

Apply-config
