Cisco 8851 [Abbreviated dial]

Hello ,

I have cisco 8851 .

when I try to call Abbreviated dial ,

I need to move page in phone in order call.

I changed the softkey template and it is didn't help .

I want to move Abbreviated dial to first page .
 
any idea ?

Is this CUCM or CME?

If CUCM, 8851 uses by default Feature Control Policy instead of softkey templates. This means that softkey templates are ignored for these types of phones. You can change this behavior by navigating to common phone profile and change the parameter 'Softkey Control' to 'Softkey Template'. These assign your profile to the phone.

If this is CME deployment then short answer nothing can be done, AFAIK.

it is CUCM  8.6.2.23900-10 .

I didn't found option to change to "softkey templates"

Do you have another option to change it ?

Look for 'Softkey Control' in common phone configuration.

I haven't used 8.6 CUCM but I am assuming it should be there. I know its there in 9.x 10.x 11.x
