Cisco Jabber Incoming Issue on CME

Hi,

I have an IP Telephony setup with CME version 9.1.I have integrated with Cisco Jabber for both Anroid and Apple Iphone.

Succesfully registered and we can make outgoing calls with cisco jabber.

The issue is that Caller A has 2 phones - the jabber iphone and cisco 7941 which have a shared line 1334. In the event of an incoming call, both phones do not ring simultaneously.

Lets say there are 4 incoming calls - Call 1 will go to the deskphone, call 2 - jabber iphone, call 3 - deskphone, call 4 - jabber and so on.

Please guide how to resolve this issue.

The configuration for the Cisco jabber mentioned below.

voice register global

mode cme

source-address 192.168.0.2 port 5060

max-dn 50

max-pool 50

Thanks in advance.....

Nithin Louis.

That is working as design, you have two Directory Numbers configued, one SCCP and the other SIP, those are not related to each other, even if they have the same number configured, so the CME will randomly select what phone to ring, to make both phones to ring, you have to enable Mixed Shared Lines:

Hi Jorge,

Thanks for your reply. Its worked for me.Now I am getting simentiously ringing on both Smartphones and Cisco IP Phones.

But one change we have to do like both ephone dn & voice register dn should be same.

Example

ephone-dn 66 dual line

number 1333

name test

voice register dn 66

number 1333

name jabber.

Once again thanks for your effort and it was new information for me.

Best Regards

Nithin Louis.

Not a problem!!

Thanks for the rating
