Cisco Phone 8845 not registering

Why is a new Phone 8845 and it's not registering with the CUCM?

CUCM version 10.5.2.11900-3

I've researched this a bit and found the below matrix but I've never loaded those CM Device packs. Will this solve the issue?

Do you see the 8845 as an option in the drop-down to add a device???

If the answer is no, then yes, you need to load the DevPack to your CUCM and then perform a cluster reboot. Make sure to read the README/RN from the DevPack.

Thanks Jaime,

The 8845 isn't an option so I'm going to load the DevPack.

Is there anything I should watch out for since I've never done this before?

Yes, the DevPack documentation I mentioned, has the FW versions that will be installed for various devices, if you do not want to use the new FW version, you'll need to take note of what you have under the device defaults and then change it back after the install, but before the cluster reboot.

Aside from that, the install is the same as any other .cop file on CUCM.
