cme 8.0 & 15.1(1)T - call quality issues with 6941/7945

Hi All,

I have a Cisco 2921 running 15.1(1)T and CME 8.0 with IP phones running 8.5.3S both 7945 and 6941 and PSTN connections via PRI and analog.

My users are complaining that frequently they have trouble hearing people on other end on handset mode on both 6941 and 7945 phones when calls are on PRI or analog lines. (There is already issue with speakerphone but I know its a known bug for the 6941.)

I want to know if this issue I am facing is also a known issue or bug and what is the workaround.

Also, I was wondering if I can take the firmware version of the 6941 all the way to 9.1.0 or atleast 9.0.3b with CME 8.1 / 15.1(2)T?

Hello, I've your same problem but with CUCM8.

Sorry for late reply. It was a bug. I updated to 15.1(2)T with 8.5.4 and its working fine.
