Conferencing under G729

Hello all,

I have a situation here, with a CUCM 6.0.1, with the following simptoms:

1) Conference with all stations configured (under the same region) to use G711: conferencing is OK;

2) Conference with all stations configured (under the same region) to use G729: conferencing is not available.

As far as I can do conferences with G711, why can't I do conferences with G729? I'm not mixing the codecs, as I'm using either G711 or G729, therefore, i don't think Transcoding is necessary. Should transcoding be configured as well?

Chris,

I find out that the argument "version" is necessary in the router, so the line is:

sccp ccm 172.20.1.102 identifier 1 priority 1 version 4.1

Now it's succesfully registered at the CUCM. However, the conference is not working yet.

Buddy, I feel I'm very close... =/
