Hello,
I'm working in project of replacing an existing TDM PBXs with new SIP ones. The existing TDM PBX use a legacy Qsig Trunk via E1 ports to connect to VoIP network via a local H323 Media Gateway.
The local H323 media Gateway register this TDM PBX in VoIP network throught a regional H323 Gatekeeper.
Question: How can we use the same existing H323 Gateway to connect the new SIP IPBX to the whole VoIP Network using H323 Gatekeepers?

Hi,
You need to get CUBE license and configure your router as CUBE with one call leg connected to SIP network and the other leg pointing to gatekeeper. You need to understand the limitation of SIP-H323 CUBE depending on what combination are you using (slow start , fast start, early offer, delayed offer). Also, you need to read more about restrictions in supplementary services.

Hello Mohamed,
Thanks for feedback.
I will note that the objectif is to connect a SIP server to an existing H323 VoIP network. From the SIP proxy side, The gateway run H323 Gatekepper is the gateway to this voip network. so we need to enable on it a sip service that provide connectivity to the sip proxy server.
As today, we are looking for a template configuration that provide a connectivity throught a voice gateway running H323 Gatekeeper and where we need to turn on the SIP service to provide connectivity to the SIP proxy side.
Remind for topology:
<SIP Phone>---<SIP Proxy>--- trunk sip----<Voice gateway [SIP service and H323 GK]>----<H323 VoIP network>------<H323 Voice gateway>----<H323 IP Phone>
welcome for help about this case.
Regards
