CP-8861 Running SSL VPN

Greetings,

I have been asked to deploy a pair of 8861's and have them SSL VPN back to the CME.  I recall with the 7975, it had to terminate on an ASA and I am assuming this is still true but please correct me if I am wrong.  Also I would like to know if there are any special considerations with regards to traffic SIP and or SCCP between the 8861 and the CME/CUE once the SSL is up. 

I have been unsuccessful with locating a guide or document regarding this spacific product.

Hi Michael, 

Yes, the VPN configuration for this model of phone is the same as the 7975, check the links below for examples:

I don't think we need a special configuration for the SIP and SCCP traffic over the VPN , the VPN traffic is handle equally by the network devices until it is decrypted.
