CP-8941 manual firmware change from SIP to SCCP without CUCM

Hi Team, 

I would like to change the  firmware on our CP-8941 ,SIP to SCCP without CUCM .

Cisco Phone model : CP-8941

Current Firmware :  SIP 9-4-2sr3-1

Desired Firmware :  SCCP 8941_8945.9-3-4-17

I did find the below article but not sure if it's same for 8941.

Also I remember reading in this forum

that "SIP firmware version 9.0 and later DO NOT use XMLDefault.cnf.xml anymore".

Hi,

Yes, you can follow the same procedure to get the SIP phone registered. You have to make changes in the SEP<...>cnf.xml file for the load name, upload the file and firmware file to TFTP server. As suggested using zip file is the best options.
