CP7960Hi
I'm helping a friend who's got a UC520 and about 10 x CP7960 Ip phones that he wants to add to the UC520. Problem is the phones are currently running a MGCP firmware version (P0M3-07-3-00) and they require the SCCP firmware. I tried to upgrade to the SCCP firmware P0030801SR02.loads and even though it detects the image, the phones do not upgrade and default to the MGCP image. The phones go into Basic Phone Mode, which are pretty much unusable.
I checked the compatibility matrix below, for the phone upgrades and even though it's not entirely clear, because if I've understood correctly, the phones should accept the version 8 SCCP load above. However, I've seen that for some older versions, the upgrade is a two step process, so I was wondering if anyone could help me get the P00306000500 which is the equivalent of the MGCP image above to try. I cannot download it from Cisco as it's too old and no longer there. That or any other advice on how to get a SCCP image on the phone.
