cucm 6.1.2 with 2 subscribers. if pub stopped receiving cdr records from one of the sub's - would you get an alarm indication? or would the only way you'd know be if you searched for a known record and it wasn't there?

thanks

Rob

If pub stopped receiving cdr records from one of the sub's it may or may not be a problem.

For example, no call was made from a phone registered to that sub. Or CDR Enable flag was set to False on that sub.

So no alarm would be raised.

michael;

understood. but in this case, i know there are plently of calls and the flag is set to true.

tried finding a call for 7/10 using rtmt and recv'd one file and the timestamp in the file was 7/12 - which i can't figure out.

1) You should be looking at the time in the content of the file instead of the timestamp of the file.

2) The time in the content of the file is in Unix Time, which requires to convert to human readable time.

3) Time in CDR are GMT instead of local time.

In short, if you'd like to find a call, it might not be a good idea to user RTMT. You should either use CDR search or 3rd-party billing software.
