CUCM to Voice Recorder device [Eventide Brand, model:Nexlog 740]

Hi guys,

I have 1 switch 3650, CUCM and 7811 IP phone.

My voice recorder is Eventide Nexlog.

I used SPAN to send the mirroring of IP phone port to Voice recorder.

My problem is:

After consult with Eventide, RTP audio packets have opus encoding, which  do not support by Eventide and they ask me to use  G.722 and G.711 which supported by them.

Please help me to give some direction how to achieve this.

You don't mention your CUCM version, so I'll assume the latest.

Just adjust your Audio Codec Preference list as you wish.

This document explains how to disable the opus codec for recording enabled devices.

 Since you are using SPAN based recording you would need to disable it or follow JaVa's recommendation (create a new preference list, region, etc...)
