Customized softkey

Guys,

all the best for the new year first of all.

im about to install a paging system for one of my customers using the ip phone services. id like to have a softkey instead labelled paging instead of going through all the added steps. i was thinking have two softkeys, one marked paging that will page throughout the organization and another call group paging which when pressed will then give you the option of which group to select.

ive been looking around and saw that the SDK may be able to do it but have no clue as to how to start.

Your going to need a bit of programing knowledge,

Essentially your going to need to create;

- List of groups (xml list using the CIPT XML Schema)

- each list item must have a destination to the third party application, and the third party application must have applicable permissions to the IP Phones using this tool.

In short you will create a single "Soft Key that will be assigned the URI: for the list/application you want to launch.
