E1 issue on Cisco Gateway (6500)

Hi.

I'm facing the following issue on a Cisco Voice Gateway:

(1/3) Framer: 1, Event: CMQ_EVENT_E1_FRMR_RAI_ALARM, Status: 128

(1/3) Framer: 1, Event: CMQ_EVENT_E1_FRMR_RAI_ALARM, Status: 0

Does anyone know what might be causing this on the E1?

Kope,

You will receive an RAI alarm when the far end is
is not receiving data/clocking properly or in error.

The RAI is the signal the far end sends to you to
alert you to this.

If this is always occurring there is a problem in
your transmit path to the next hop.

Check you are using the correct framing method for your link
For E1 this is either CRC4 or No-CRC4.

If this is only happening now and then it would seem more like
an intermittant line fault.

You DO need to know how the other end is set up.

Sorry I cant tell you much more.

Regards,
Alex.
