EMCC Configuration

Hello,

I would like to understand what does the EMCC template have in relation to the Device Pool configured under the Bulk Admin tool > EMCC template.

For example, I have HQ, SB and SC, do I need to 3 different template for EMCC for 3 site?

After login to EMCC, how does the call flows? what would be the line CSS of the user login to EMCC?

The CSS part i can answer. :-)

The CSS is used in the following manner.

Home cluster builds a CSS for the phone that consists of three elements, in priority order:

1)Adjunct CSS -----Configured in roaming DP to support country specific emergency dialing plan (e.g., UK phone remotely registers back to US cluster; user dials 9.999 (UK emergency#) that US cluster will normally not recognize. HC=US, VC=UK)

2)Line CSS

Normal configuration on Device Profile Directory Numbers.

3)EMCC CSS

Visiting phone will not have a configured Device CSS in the HC.

HC takes the EMCC CSS (new) setting from the Device Profile configuration page and uses this as the Device CSS.
