Emergency Dialing in Brazil

Can anyone confirm the regulatory requirements for emergency dialing in Brazil. Do we need a local gateway with either a POTS line or PRI for dailing emergency numbers just like in U.S in order to get the right number and location reflected to PSAP.

We have couple of sites which are using the Gateway of another site for incoming & outgoing calls. But I'm now being advised that we must use a local pstn breakout for emergency dialing.

All phones are registered on the CUCM Cluster.

You can use local gateways to route the call to local PSAP. Feel free to use Standard Local Route Group on CUCM which will route the calls from local gateway according to the Device Pool of the calling Phone. Number presentation can be changed on CUCM / Gateways according to the requirement.
CUCM has the capability of routing the calls through gateways as per the configuration.

You can also use Cisco Emergency Responder if you need below features as well.
-Route an emergency call out to a local public-safety answering point (PSAP)
-Alert personnel via email or phone of an emergency call to respond to locally
-Keep a log of all emergency calls
-Provide the PSAP with accurate geo-location of the caller in need
