Enduserinformations as Alertingname

Hello everybody!

i have got a Cisco Unified CM version 8 and i want to use enduser informations (for example Firstname and Lastname) as alertingname (call signaling).

Is it possible and how it works?

No, CUCM doesn't do directory lookups to show a name againt the calling number, for IP Phones, that info is hardcoded in the line level.

Only Jabber for example would do that as it integrates directly into the directory to get the info.

Paolo has a script to do that if you're interested in that, he's contact info is in his profile.
