Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve the issue of extension mobility option being stuck on requesting when pressed on the phone?

You can start checking the url configured on EM service.
Which version of CUCM are you running?

URL looks correct in the way it supposed to be configured.

Hi Shyam.
Are you using fully qualified domain name or ip address on url?
Did you enable extension mobility service on cisco unified serviceability ?
Did you also enable extension mobility on phone where you are trying to access the service?

To check if EM is correctly working on CUCM side, use the following url from your PC and see if the phone you will use for testing, will register with a user profile:
http://<CUCM IP>/emapp/EMAppServlet?device=<DEVICE NAME>&&userid=<USERNAME>&seq=<PIN>
Substitute all values accordingly and see what happens.
