We have a MoH CD we want to use. So we'll be purchasing the MOH-USB-AUDIO= card for our MCS servers. But does anyone have a recommendation for an external CD player? I would imagine a repeat function and reliability are the only concerns (it'll be playing 24x7).
Thanks
Tom

I would recommend using a flash-based player, and there are purpose-built MoH flash players. It's easy enough to rip a CD, and a flash player won't have any moving parts to wear out. However, if you are going to rip the CD, you might as well load it directly onto your MoH server and not worry about any extra parts. Look under "Media Resources"->"MoH Audio File Management".

I never thought about a flash/mp3 -- makes much more sense! Thanks.
Unfortuantely we can't use the CUCM built-in audio streams. We need the music to be constantly playing, so that we can place callers on/off hold without the music re-starting. Due to other technical issues we can't use multicast. So that forced us to look at external fixed source audio.
