FXO Port

I need to test if there is a line or dial tone connected to an FXO port at a remote location.

Is there a command to place a call via command line to see if there is dial tone?

csim start XXXXXXXXXX <---- phone number. You might want to create a dial peer for the test number specifically in case you have more than one line, this way you can specify the exact port you want to test.
