gatekeeper tech prefix

hi,

i have a gatekepeer with a callmanger and cme registered to it with the same tech prefix 1# and all in same zone, i have added zone prefix on the gk

my question is do i have to send 1# or 1#and the zone perfix or just the zone prefix in the calls between cm and cme

That depends what exactly you want to do,

since u have only 1 zone and 1 tech prefix, when GK is doing the call routing will ignore tech prefix, but GW do still send it, so make sure u strip it.

ie CME 1#

CCM-Trunk 1#

if you use only 1 zone, make sure u configure zone prefix properly.

zone prefix gk 2...

zone prefix gk 3...

since you are using only one zone, make sure u specify correctly to which gw u send the call (tip use gw-default priority) command
