Getting Cisco IP communicator

I need to know how to get Cisco IP communicator latest version? I tried to download it from Cisco website but it fails 

Does this software require license or purchase?

Hi,

You need and valid CCO to download Cisco IP communicator that's it. From licensing perspective if you are running CUCM version 9.x and above you need an Enhance license per Cisco IP communicator intense.

In my case I have CUCME and I did purchase SW-CCME-UL-ENH= CUCME Phone License - Enhanced

Will I be able to download Ip communicator in this case?

Hi,

Like i said above "You need and valid CCO to download Cisco IP communicator that's it." Licensing has nothing to do with download. If you are not sure about your CCO ID contact your accounts team and the would be able to help you with that.

Cisco IP Communicator is a basic soft phone and should be supported in all version, just in case you are running a very low version of CME see below link for detail.
