Hookflash from IP phone to E1 cas trunk :- Is it possible ?

Hi,

I have the following setup

IP Phone (A). .....................IVR Script

|.......................................................|

2811-----E1 fxo/fxs loopstart--->2811

(ccme)

When I dial a call from my IP phone (A) over the E1 trunk, I get connected to a tcl script, which then connects me to an IP phone (B not shown above).

Now, I want to send a hookflash from my IP Phone (A).

The script on the other end is setup to detect hookflash events.

However, when I try to send a hookflash, the script on the other end, either sees no event, or sees a disconnect.

I have setup fxo hookflash under telephony services on the 2811 connected to IP Phone (A), and experimented with adjusting the hookflash timing on both ends.

Is it possible to send a hookflash in such a configuration ?

You can have a event called hookflash in the IVR

But I have all that setup.

I believe that the underlying platform, 2811 with VWIC-2MFT-E1 does not support hookflash detection on E1 CAS with FXS/FXO LOOPSTART signalling(it may on E&M wink-start)

I am just hoping someone can either confirm or deny this statement.
