Our company just installed new phones, Cisco IP 8800 series. The manager set up her voicemail with the representative and now would like to disable it. She does not want it. A few of us have look in the information we were given on the phones and we have not found the directions to do so. Does anyone have an answer for us?

Hi Kimberly
its not on the actual phone it would be under the call manager system or the the call manager unity system , a central system where the phones and voicemail requirements are setup , are you aware of what you use for the office in terms of voicemail systems ? Or it could be configured through MS outlook as well
basically phone are dumb terminals they power up com online and pull their information from these systems , that's where it needs to be disabled she would be setup on that system as a user

We received a pdf that says Cisco unity end user guide, it tells you how to set up your voicemail and a lot of other stuff that you can do with it , but not how you can disable it.

Hi whats the system you go to, to setup the voicemail , is it a web address ? is it cisco unity express in the pdf ?
if it is that system its the same as adding a user , you search by the extension number of your manager and the just delete that's it
