how to produce a busy signal instead of call waiting in hunt group?

Peace, i have a hunt group configured to longest idle, and it forwards call on busy, unregistered or no answer calls on our main number to a secondary number (queuing is not enabled). if the secondary line is busy, the caller doesn't get a busy tone but keeps ringing, is there a way to produce a busy signal instead?

Only when you are the N+1 call from the busy trigger, and there is no CFB configuration, you would get busy.

If the call is below the busy trigger, it will be presented to the device with no way of knowing they're on another call.

let's see if i understand you correctly, i have all phones set to 1 busy trigger, and 2 maximum calls, the hunt group has just 1 phone in it so?
