We use the 2430 Cisco IAD to provide telephone connections to customer's phone systems via the FXS ports. The idle voltage on the IAD per line on the FXS ports are -36 to -38 volts.
The Bell Core standard is -44 to -50 volts. Is their a command to raise the voltage per line? The idle voltage setting is already set to high.

I found a parameter that will raise the voltage 2 to 4 volts.
The parameter, alt-battery-feed, selection under the voice ports configuration. Changing this parameter to feed4 will raise the voltage 2 to 3 volts. It now reads -42 volts instead of -38 volts.
Thanks to our local Cisco Engineer for this one.
