Hi Cisco Gurus,
I have a question about installing a new firmware for cisco 8845 ip phones in call manager. I have a client who are going to provision 500ish phones in their company and i have been asked to do the upgrades..
I have the following details and steps carried out so far.
CUCM Active Version: 10.5.2.12901-1
firmware: cmterm-8845_65-sip.11-7-1-17.k3.cop.sgn
The firmware has installed correctly, but I can only see it in cisco unified OS admin > show > software > ccmterm-8845 (firmware file name). However, I can not see this firmware in device defaults, device default firmware in CM admin.
Also, just adding to this question, I have only installed this file on PUB, restarted TFTP service but still I cannot see the firmware in device defaults. I have not rebooted my cluster because i do not need any service disrruption.

Thanks Jaime, I was able to fix the problem with the phone. I was installing the .cp.sgn firmware files only when i should have been installing the devpack on the cucm.
