Hi,
we have one setup of CUCM 4.x with 1200 Phones with XXXX numbering schema.
Now we have another setup of CUCM 8.x with 5000 Phones with XXXXX numbring schema.
Is it possible to interconnect both the setup and trasfer call between the CUCM?
main Issue is Numbring plan one setup is 4 Digit (XXXX) route pattern (in 4.x) and another is 5 Digit route pattern(in 8.x).
please advice how it can possible?
Thanks

Yes, just configure an ICT between them
You can add a site prefix on both ends and then dial either 4 or 5 digits.

Whatever prefix you like, just look at your dial plan and use a prefix which does not overlap to prevent IDT.
1, 2, 3, 4, N digits, whatever you want/like.

Dear,
I did 1XXXX Petrun in CUCM 4.X, after than calling on CUCM is stopped after that, because it is 4 Digit calling and CUCM not recognosize how to trasfer call.
Example : one IP Phone number in CUCM 4.x is 1025 and in CUCM 8.x is 10250. when we call from other number 1020 to 1025 then no responce it just stoped dialing.
