Ip phone automatic calling

Hello,

is is there anyway a phone can automatically dial another ip phone internally without a user ever dialing. Like can there be a virus on computer or phone that can cause it. Keep in mind the two phones call log shows the dial call. We have call manager 8.0.

CTI applications can control a phone and use it to place calls, no virus AFAIK does that.
