Hi Everyone,
I am in the process of transfering some VLAN's from an exsisting switch to a new switch.
The issue is that I need to keep the same Voice VLAN number in both the switches as the 3CX server is in the same vlan.
The new switch won't be having any direct link to the old one. Both switches are introduced into EIGRP routing.
Is there a way that I create a new voice vlan on the new switch and make it to communicate with the 3cx server through a router in the middle.
Please advise.
Regards,
Bala

Hi Bala.
The voice vlan tag could be the same on both switch.
What you have to do is provide a different subnet for devices attacched to new the switch and this subnet should be able to communicate to the old one through the router in order to communicate.
