Issues using BAT when adding CSF devices

Recently upgraded to CUCM 7.1 and CUP 8.5    

I created a CSF devices manually and was successful upon testing within CUCM and CUP.

So I exported the device using BAT all details.

I renamed the fields appropriately to indicate new users within the exported CSV file.

I run Validate Phones Configuration and all is successful.

But when I run BAT phone import all details I get the following error.

CSFMSOOD          DEVICE-LINE Association :: Error : 2701          The Phone Template model and protocol do not match the device model and protocol

Any ideas?

I have had experience with importing multiple phones and phones / users.

Generally, I only import one phone as a test to make sure that all fields are correct. You need to configure a template with all the information possible in it. Then, on the BAT template only put the necessary information needed to complete the import. BAT is very picky and will throw off the entire spreadsheet if something is out of line or not the correct information.

If you are importing users with the phones, the validation doesnt use the templates it just verifies the information in the BAT spreadsheet. So go back to the phone template you are using and see if you can add more infomation there and less information in the spreadsheet.
