LINKSYS SPA8000/ASTERISK only allows 2 simultaneous calls

I have set up a small test network with some of my work colleagues. The network hardware consists of catalyst 2960S switches, 3 Linksys SPA 8000 8 port FXS adapters and a single HP server running Asterisk as the IPPBX,which is connected to the outside world via an E1 circuit. My problem is regarding simultaneous calls on the Linksys adapters. The first adapter (adapter A) setup on the network works fine and 8 calls can be made simultaneously. Adapters B and C allow single calls to made on any of their ports but do not allow any more than 2 simultaneous at any one time. Any thoughts appreciated.

I finally got to the bottom of this one. The Linksys spa8000 needs to be factory reset out of the box even if it's brand new. We've proved this with multiple boxes and it does the trick. At last :-)
