A customer has CUCMBE 7.1 which is a single server solution. Since the redundancy of call control becomes critical, they are planning to upgrade CUCMBE 7.1 to CUCM BE 6000 (ver 8.6) or full version of CUCM 8.6, both with two redundant CUCM servers, one publisher and one subscriber.
The Unity Connection will be on a separate server after upgrade as well.
They have valid UCSS service contract with CUWL CUCMBE licenses.
I got a couple of ordering questions below?
1) I understand that their UCSS contract covers the upgrade from CUCMBE 7.1 to CUCMBE 5000 (8.6) for sure, but how about upgrade to CUCMBE 6000 or full version of CUCM 8.6? Do I need to order upgraded CUWL license, for example the professional level CUWL licenses?
2) How do I order the license for Unity Connection server?
3) How do I order the license for the second CUCM server which will be added after upgrade?
I genaral, I need to know what licenses are needed exaclty when upgrading CUCMBE 7.1 to CUCMBE 6000 or full version of CUCM?
I have contact Cisco UCSS team, but the answers are not clear.
