We have netwokr of CUCM 7.0 and 7921, 7975, 7965, and 7945 phones, connected to internet through ASA firewall
I want to connect my 7921 wireless phone from any public hotspot connect to internet , register with my internal CUCM
I think this can be done via Phone proxy feature on the ASA
Do I need the H/W Security Key (KEY-CCM-ADMIN-K9 ) for my CUCM ?
Any one can help me with sample configuration

Mohamed,
From the 'Security Configuration' menu, you will need to confirm the presence of a MIC (Manufacturing Installed Certificate). If a MIC is NOT installed, you will need to install the CAPF (Certificate Authority Proxy Function) and install an LSC (Locally Significant Certificate). If CAPF/LSC is required, you will need to purchase the KEY-CCM-ADMIN-K9. In either case, you can configure this feature, referencing the link below:

Hi,
Thanks for your reply
Manufacturer Installed Certificates are included on all 7941/61 and newer model IP Phones.
What about the 7920, 7921, 79x5 phones ?

Mohamed
