Hello.
I have to integrate Cisco Unity Connection (CUC) with Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (CUCME).
I have only one line (only one phone call can take place at a time).
I have two phones which numbers are 201 and 202.
In Cisco Prime License Manager, I have two "Basic Messaging (11.x) - Unity Connection" licenses registered.
I don't understand the concepts of "voice messaging port" and "group port" in a minimalist situation like mine.
Do they relate to the number of phone lines, to the number of phones?
In my case how many "voice messaging port(s)" do I have?
Thanks.

The number of ports is determined by the OVA you deployed, not licensing.
1 VM port means 1 call to/from CUC

Hello.
What is a call from CUC?
What kind of calls can CUC make?
In Cisco Unity Connection Administration GUI, I need to create one (or several) port(s).
Given that I have only one phone line (only one call at a time), I guess I only need one port.
Can you confirm this?
Best regards.

A transfer from an AA for example.
You can create anywhere between 1 and the maximum number of ports you're allowed in your platform, it's up to you. The ports are already licensed by the user licenses.
