We have enabled recording beep tones on our phones, which by default beeps in 15 sec time interval. As per our company's new policy we need to change this time interval from 15 to 5 sec, which i managed to do for sccp phones by editing the file g3-tones.xml in the tftp
The issue that I am facing is this is not taking effect in SIP phones (88xx), are the SIP phones using separate network locale than the sccp phones, i cud see g4-tones.xml file in the tftp, is this the one being used for SIP phones ?? Please assist.
