TAPS installation incase of IPCCX in HA mode

Hi,

We are running CCM 6.1.3 and IPCCX 5.0.2.

We have 2 IPCCX servers running in HA mode.

We are considering TAPS for the deployment of IP phones in our new offices.

Do I have to install the TAPS tool on both the IPCCX servers separately?

Or is install on the primary IPCCX server sufficient?

I could n't get any cisco documentation on this.

Can you please share your experience and views on this issue?

You can configure TAPS on both of them for redundancy. So all the call will be routed to Primary IPCCX server and only if this server is down we route the calls to backup IPCCX server. If you want a single number for users to dial-in to TAPS that will route to the Primary Server and register the phone and will route to the secondary server if the primary server is down.
